We have a great text book this year. The lessons and exercises are based on real life scenarios which help students relate their studies to the outside world. Files for each exercise are available in our class folder which lives on the school server. All students also have their own folder on the server in order to save their work and keep a folder of archives for all past work done. The text book covers Microsoft Office 2007 software; Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, and Outlook. We also explore Publisher as well as different browsers for a variety of search skills. Online applications are popular in today's business world so students will discuss and explore these areas as well.
